SO FRESH
This long, narrow bathroom was originally configured poorly. To maintain an open feel, we opted for a symmetrical design centered around a tall linen cabinet, flanked by his and hers vanities. The bathtub was positioned at one end and the shower at the other. We could have created a seamless look by continuing the bathroom tile into the curbless shower, but we chose not to as it would have accentuated the room's length. Instead, we visually divided the space by using different tile materials for the shower floor and walls.
The bathroom features porcelain floor tiles that mimic the appearance of natural stone, complemented by sleek bullnose pieces in lieu of traditional baseboards. On the shower floor, we used hexagon-shaped porcelain tiles resembling marble, while the back wall showcases a captivating blend of glossy, three-dimensional ceramic tiles in a beachy wave pattern. Completed with black-painted glass tiles on the shower sidewalls, the shower really adds a touch of elegance to the space.
